A Workplace Destination

The opportunity to design a completely new workspace sparked a question many companies are asking. What will compel teams to return to the office of their own free will and volition? Goodmans commissioned a third-party research company to conduct one-on-one interviews with all employees to find the answers.

The Power of Design

We discovered they wanted a robust variety of work settings, flexible enough to suit how they work on any given day. Employees determine what their day will look like and the space provides the support they need to do their best work.

Our new showroom design is based on that qualitative research and employees have returned to the office in droves. Happy hours and free lunches are less important. Separate and distinct areas for socializing and undisturbed focus work are now the priority. The power of design set the stage and collaboration, efficiency and engaged teams are the result.

One Size Misfits All

There is no singular answer to the return-to-office dilemma. By actively listening to our employees, we created solutions unique to our needs. This approach is applicable to other companies grappling with the same questions. The key for us was to offer flexibility and an abundance of environments to choose from each day. We can help guide your company through the process and discover what would inspire your team to embrace the office over remote work.
